I start my internship on Wednesday! Gilbert and I bought a new mattress today and we’re hoping to get a bedroom set (as inexpensive as possible) tomorrow. One of my favorite things is making a to-do list and then crossing things off. I always put things that will take two seconds or that I’m basically (or already) done with, just so I can cross it off. It’s the satisfaction of putting a line through something, completing it, even if it’s so small that I love.

I was being dumb and upset Gilbert and now I just feel terrible. The worst thing about getting into an argument when you’re miles apart is not being able to “kiss and makeup”. Every time we fight, I am reminded of this. I can’t possibly get home fast enough.
